A got a call at work this morning. My wife asked, “how secure do you feel the chicken run is?” Uh oh. I said, “so far, so good”. Apparently there was a fox on the prowl this morning. This was around 7:30am so I’m wondering if it was supposed to be out and about. I hope it isn’t sick. Anyways, I assured my wife that we keep them enclosed for a reason (although they have a huge run) and that they should be fine. I told her to lead the dogs down there so hopefully they can keep the unwelcome guest away. At least if they’re down there keeping an eye out, the fox can’t study the enclosure and find a way in. Any other ideas?
